Celebrating NACAC 2024: Old Friends, New Ideas, and AmbioEdu’s Big Debut
NACAC 2024 was an unforgettable experience—my 15th NACAC, but my first with AmbioEdu. Check out my reflections on the conference, including our amazing Tiki on the Terrace party, industry innovations, and what’s next for AmbioEdu!
This year marked my 15th NACAC, but it was a particularly special one—it was my first representing AmbioEdu. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity and proud of everything we’ve achieved in such a short time. NACAC 2024 was truly amazing. It was a joy to see familiar faces, reconnect with old friends and colleagues, and make so many new connections. I’m continually inspired by the dedication, compassion, and intelligence of those working in higher education, all sharing the same passion for shaping the future of students.
A highlight of the week was our Tiki on the Terrace party with Halda and Campus ESP on Wednesday night. What a night! The stunning views of LA, the delicious drinks, and the fantastic company made for an evening to remember. And, to spice things up, we even got a fun fly-by from the LAPD—an unexpected twist that added some excitement to the night! A huge thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us—we couldn’t have had such a fun time without you. For those who couldn’t make it, we missed you, but don’t worry; There will always be more opportunities to connect in the future.

Beyond the party, NACAC was buzzing with incredible energy, and I was especially impressed by the number of new and innovative companies in attendance. As someone who’s passionate about staying at the forefront of the industry, I encourage everyone to take time to explore what these emerging companies are doing. Innovation is the key to leading the future of enrollment and education marketing, and these companies are bringing fresh ideas that can help all of us rise to the challenges ahead.
The best part of NACAC is always the sense of community and shared purpose. Whether it’s long-time colleagues or new industry partners, I’m reminded each year why I love being part of this field. I’m already looking forward to Columbus 2025—and who knows, Tiki on the Terrace may just make a comeback!
Until next year, thank you all for being part of this incredible journey, and I can’t wait to see what we achieve together in the future!
